Violet is the colour of Common Hepatica (Kidneywort, liverwort, pennywort, sinivuokko). You maybe can find those now in South Finland.

White-backed Woodpecker

I went out on Sunday to look for Bearded Reedlings in Espoo coast line without results. When coming to Laajalahti I found many photo takers and one rarity, a white-backed woodpecker. The bird is not shy but allows photographing from as close as five meters.

Tree Creeper

Thursday Theme “Murtumia”

“Murtumia” means breaks or cracks. Here is a piece of art in nature. Level in the sea rises, water ices, level escapes, thin layer of ice sticks to branches and breaks.
